GLESS: Sweat makes a great cement. And we sweat[ed] together, clearly, for six years.

DALY: Now in our dotage, we don't get to see each other enough.

GLESS: We're talking about doing [a play] together!

DALY: We got together in Miami, shortly after my birthday. Sharon actually baked me a birthday cake. It was delicious.

GLESS: And I came to visit Tyne in New York. Walking the streets, I forgot that we were Cagney and Lacey. I did see people go: ''Oh, my God, look — there they are!''
