Danielle Ganek takes on the egos of Manhattan's art world through 28-year-old "gallerina" Mia McMurray — and the clamor surrounding the much-coveted painting of the title.

Source of Angst
Though Mia longs to show her own work, she sadly lacks a crucial ingredient: talent.

Bottom Line
Ganek obviously knows the art world, but her light satire is ultimately too featherweight to sustain the plot, and she too transparently telegraphs the outcome of Mia's romantic interests. B
