In supernatural sudser Hex — the U.K.'s edgier, oversexed response to Charmed — witch/coed Cassie (Christina Coles) craves approval from the school's ''in'' crowd, but her just-discovered powers make her more of an outcast. They also attract fallen angel Azazeal (Michael Fassbender), a lesbian ghost (Jemima Rooper), and a demon baby. Sure, a lot of the mythological plot doesn't add up, but this dark world is so enrapturing you won't care. EXTRAS A making-of follows Hex's freaky creatures from storyboard to screen. A-
