British-born actress Minnie Driver (FX's The Riches) assembled a top-notch team to help realize her Americana dream on Seastories, second foray into music making. Ryan Adams contributes to the country-heavy ''Beloved''; his backing band, the Cardinals, pops up on four tracks; Liz Phair adds harmonies to the wistful ''Sorry, Baby''; and recent Grammy winner Jim Scott (Dixie Chicks) mans the mixing board. But even an abundance of star power can't give form to the daydreaming Driver's meandering, though pleasant, melodies. B-
