What's That Song?: Ads That Rock

Songs in commercials -- Paul Van Dyk and New Order rock ads for Jeep and AT&T

1. A stream of water — namely, Smirnoff Source, liquor-infused H2O (!) — performs a jazzy little jig to The Rapture's funky ''Whoo! Alright Yeah... Uh Huh'' from 2006.

2. The evocative ''Time of Our Lives'' (2003) by German über-DJ Paul Van Dyk provides the soundtrack to the ubiquitous ad in which sexy young Jeep owners frolic and go off-roading.

3. Cute but disturbingly anthropomorphic M&M's (who wants a candy with hair?) bop about to British rockers The The's cheery 1984 ditty ''This Is the Day.''

4. The unmistakable riff of ''Age of Consent'' — New Order's classic track from 1983 — returns for the celebratory new AT&T-Cingular ad.
