It's a shame this true-crime thriller, starring Salma Hayek and Jared Leto as the infamous Lonely Hearts Killers of the 1940s, fared so pitifully in theaters. Lonely Hearts may lack the noir sophistication of L.A. Confidential, but the cast delivers — especially Hayek, terrifying as a ruthless psychopath in blood-red lipstick. John Travolta and James Gandolfini share great tough-guy chemistry as a pair of hulking New York detectives hot on the murderers' trail. EXTRAS In a making-of doc, Gandolfini reminisces about his dad buying tires from Travolta's pop in New Jersey. B
