All aboard the Shia bandwagon. Steven Spielberg's protégé (Transformers, Indiana Jones' 2008 adventure) made the leap to bankable leading man as a felon under house arrest in Disturbia, a cybertech update of Rear Window. LaBeouf's earnest likability carries a film that trades its intricate psychological setup for a sloppy teen-slasher finale. EXTRAS The star talks about buffing up for action pics (a diet of chicken and creatine) in a freewheeling commentary with Roemer and director D.J. Caruso. But golly, Jimmy Stewart never cussed like this. B
