The biggest upcoming projects in entertainment

MOVIES
+ Emmy nominee Rainn Wilson (The Office) will go medieval in Renaissance Men, a comedy about two community-theater geeks hiding out at the local fair. ''It gets behind what makes a Renaissance fair tick,'' says Wilson, who co-wrote the script with actor Matt Ross (Big Love's Alby). ''It's a small world, where people take themselves far too seriously.'' And just in case you were wondering: ''There will be jousting and giant turkey legs.''

MUSIC
+ American Idol runner-up Blake Lewis has signed with 19 Recordings/Arista Records for a late-fall album, tentatively titled ADD (Audio Day Dream). Lewis — on the Idol tour through Sept. 23 — is collaborating with producer Jonathan ''J.R.'' Rotem and Doug E. Fresh, who performed with him on the Idol finale. He's also writing songs with Idolpal Chris Richardson. ''Beat-boxing will be throughout the whole album,'' says Lewis. ''It'll be like an electronic or hip-hop mixtape. I call it my Michael Jackson Bad album. But it'll have a hip-hop overtone.''
