Flaccid and predictable. It satirizes Upper East Side privilege by turning the superrich (Laura Linney and Paul Giamatti) into zombie caricatures. Scarlett Johansson, as their yuppie nanny, is just an observer. The film ends up glorifying the romance of slumming.
