Craig A. Williams, the lead guitarist in the early-'90s teenage hair-metal band Onyxxx recalls worshipping Slash, exploiting Sunset Strip groupies, and struggling in vain to score a record deal despite minimal musical proficiency in Mom, Have You Seen My Leather Pants?.

Bottom Line
Reducing the players in his almost-famous arc to a series of amusing but crass caricatures, Williams re-creates the voice of an adolescent numbskull a bit too vividly. B-
