Check out our guide to the season's new and returning shows

9:30-10 PM · NBC · Returns Sept. 25

''I would say unless you're a corpse, you love music'' is exec producer Phil Gurin's blunt reason why viewers like this you-finish-the-lyric game show. Gurin claims that people don't play Bee for ''the money, they play to win the trophy!'' This season, Gurin promises ''a lot of celebrity guests...singing their biggest hits at the top of the show, when [host] Joey Fatone's out there in the house finding contestants. We may have [the celebs] sit with our house singers during the show and have them sing what we call our 'slices.' We call all our song bits 'slices.''' What a coincidence — we call our sandwich bread ''song bits''!
