9:30-10 PM · FOX · Returns Sept. 30

It's all about parodies in season 3, says executive producer Mike Barker, as Dad tries to ''plumb the depths of some of our characters' psychology.'' Take Stan, who's never killed anyone in the line of duty, so he ''pops his homicidal cherry'' in a take on The 40 Year-Old Virgin. Steve, in turn, vents his violence on some catty popular girls in a spoof of Kill Bill. Then things go Alias as it's revealed that Hayley was part of a CIA experiment to turn operatives' preschoolers into adorable, knife-wielding moppet-bombs. By the time we get to Forest Whitaker's and Tim Gunn's guest spots, we may all need therapy.
