9-9:30 PM · NBC · Returns Sept. 27

The Office is no longer a little show — literally. Says exec producer Greg Daniels, ''We're starting off with four hour-long episodes this season. Four in a row! So we're gonna chew up a lot of story in the first four episodes.'' And what of lovebirds Pam and Jim? ''I'm not gonna tell you where they're gonna go,'' says Daniels flatly. Aw, come on — give us some Office gossip! ''The major thing that affects the office [at the start of season 4] is that Ryan [B.J. Novak], the former temp, is now Michael's boss. It's a big deal. There's a company website that Ryan is trying to push down people's throats,'' says Daniels. ''And Jan [Melora Hardin] has moved into Michael's condo with him. They have some problems.'' We wouldn't have it any other way.
