'House' Band

Hear the full version of Hugh Laurie and famous friends (including Greg Grunberg and James Denton) covering the Rolling Stones' ''You Can't Always Get What You Want,'' from the forthcoming ''House'' soundtrack

Sarah McLachlan, Elvis Costello, Ben Harper, Lucinda Williams...and Hugh Laurie? Yep: count the multitalented Brit star of Fox's medical drama House among the contributors to that show's TV soundtrack (in stores on Sept. 18). The actor and some of his famous friends — including Greg Grunberg (Heroes), James Denton (Desperate Housewives), Bonnie Somerville (the upcoming ABC show Cashmere Mafia), and Bob Guiney (an ex-Bachelor) — jam together for various charities in a side project called Band From TV; for the House soundtrack, they cover the Rolling Stones' ''You Can't Always Get What You Want.'' (Besides the show's theme song, ''Teardrop'' by Massive Attack, the soundtrack also includes Costello's never-before-released cover of Christina Aguilera's ''Beautiful'' and McLachlan's version of XTC's ''Dear God'').
