CHAPTER THREE: ONE GIANT LEAP
Plot Ahh, the episode in which our protagonists begin to understand their powers. Hiro stops time and saves a little girl from being hit by a truck. Parkman reads the mind of an FBI agent and is drafted to hunt Sylar. Then there's the chiller: Mohinder and his pixie-ish neighbor break into Sylar's apartment, finding a book on dissecting brains and a room with the words ''Forgive me, I have sinned'' scrawled over and over again on the walls.
Best Moment After being ''killed'' during an attempted rape at the hands of the school quarterback, Claire awakens on an autopsy table, her skin flayed off. Never mind the episode it might be the best moment of the series.
Critique The first classic Heroes installment eerie, scary, funny, and utterly shocking. A Dan Fierman
