Outlaw-country icon Merle Haggard was recently heard on March's Last of the Breed, a collaboration with old pals Ray Price and Willie Nelson. Come Oct. 2, Haggard will release a solo LP, The Bluegrass Sessions. In ''Wouldn't That Be Something,'' a sneak peek from the album, he lays his bluesy Jack Daniel's pipes over a wistful back-porch ballad. Hear the track below.
