Dear Owen...
I've never responded to a movie reviewer before, but I feel you did a disservice to a very good movie. As an adult woman who loves comedy, it is sometimes hard to find a film that is just good fun, not sexist, gross, or offensive in any way. Balls of Fury is a cute end-of-summer movie you can take your kids to. I have to admit that when I first saw the lead actor I thought, ''Jack Black,'' but was soon happy to see that he turned in a sensitive, sweet performance that had no trace of the sly, wink-to-the-audience thing that Black does. And, come on, the crazy juxtaposition of Christopher Walken's casual mobster patter with his geisha villain appearance was Hi-LAR-ious! He had me at ''okeydokey artichokey.'' Leslee
