Child's Play
(1988)SETTING UP CAMP With seconds to spare before dying, the Lakeshore Strangler, a.k.a. Charles Lee ''Chucky'' Ray, magically voodoos his soul into a Good Guy doll (which, with its overalls and striped shirt, looks suspiciously similar to the My Buddy toy of the '80s). Mayhem ensues as the killer attempts to get back into a human body namely the doll's young owner, Andy (Alex Vincent, above) before he's stuck being a child's plaything forever.
BEST KILL Chucky gives Andy's psychiatrist a taste of his own medicine, electroshocking him into oblivion.
HE'S IN THIS?!? Brad Dourif, an Emmy nominee this year for his role on Deadwood, not only plays Charles Lee Ray, he's also voiced the Chucky doll in all five of the franchise's films.
MOST UNBELIEVABLE MOMENT Apparently, Chucky's little plastic hammer carries enough force to send Andy's babysitter crashing through a window.
KILLER QUOTE ''This is the end...friend.'' Andy to Chucky, before flambéing him
