Having gone after the Satanist vote on 1998's Devil Without a Cause, is the Kid now courting Christians via Rock N Roll Jesus? No. The title
track is a nondenominational, AC/DC-style tribute to Rock's rockingness, while ''Amen'' finds Kid Rock taking lyrical aim at established religion. There is a fairly catholic array of influences here: Smile-provoking nostalgiafest ''All Summer Long'' lifts elements from both ''Werewolves of London'' and ''Sweet Home Alabama.'' But the mediocre ''New Orleans'' makes hard work of celebrating Big Easy blues.
