The sarcastic music newsmag boasts some funny ideas, like interviews with prospective rock-star assistants (''Have you ever shaved someone's back?'') and a therapy session for dysfunctional rockers Brian Jonestown Massacre. But the disorienting tone — are they after Michael Moore-style social commentary or just cheap laughs — leaves you more befuddled than bemused. B
