It didn't get the reviews — or the audiences — that Happy Feet did, but Surf's Up is not the Oscar winner's poorer, Johnny-come-lately cousin. This wry, funny animated mockumentary about a penguin surfer from Antarctica gives both young and old a taste of what it's like to hang 10 (or 6, in penguin anatomy). EXTRAS So how'd they get those amazing waves? According to a making-of, the crew hit the beaches in Malibu and asked pro surfer Kelly Slater to weigh in on their CG wonders.
