While Never Enough doesn't match Joe McGinniss' masterwork, Fatal Vision, it's riveting and compulsively readable nonetheless. Why did Nancy Kissel — mother of three, pampered wife of Hong Kong investment banker Robert Kissel — lace her husband's milk shake with sedatives and then bludgeon him to death? McGinniss patiently unravels the case with plenty of fresh reporting and suggests it was not just because Nancy was having an affair, but because her cute, buxom, blond exterior masked a true psychopath. The real victims were the Kissel children, who became embroiled in an ugly custody dispute with relatives following Dad's murder and their mom's incarceration. B+
