What went down in Hollywood (and Rome and Scranton, Pa.) last week? There were moments you'd expect: Jerry Seinfeld peddled Bee Movie, Halle Berry walked a red carpet, a sci-fi classic got ready for its TV debut. And then there was one you wouldn't: An Office star saw a camera and didn't feel the need to stare directly into it! Read on....
Creating Some Buzz
Bee Movie stars Renée Zellweger and Jerry Seinfeld are swarmed on the yellow-and-black carpet. Could their new film be stung by overexposure?
Read Seinfeld's response in our interview.
Navy Seal
Mark Harmon films an underwater scene for
the Nov. 6 episode of NCIS
Web Obsession of the Week
It won't officially launch for a few months, but we're already making
eyes at Hulu. The site, a joint venture between News Corp. and NBC
Universal, promises full-length episodes of NBC and Fox TV shows (along
with classics like Woody Woodpecker, above, and series from more than 15
cable channels). Also on tap: films from four major studios. (hulu.com)
Still Glowing
Halle Berry hits the Rome Film Festival for the premiere of Things We
Lost in the Fire. Indie comedy Juno, about a young woman's quest to put
her baby up for adoption, won top honors.
He's Back...Kinda
Owain Yeoman plays a new metalhead in Terminator: The Sarah Connor
Chronicles, debuting in January on Fox. From the looks of things, we're
guessing he's one of the bad kind.
Working Overtime
Melora Hardin (Jan from The Office) appears at the inaugural three-day
fan convention for the NBC sitcom in Scranton, Pa. We'd throw up our
hands in frustration too if we were dating Michael Scott.
