Velvet Revolver announced on their Web site that they have canceled a scheduled tour of Japan this month because the country denied them visas. Under Japanese law, anyone convicted of drug offenses can be denied entry to the country, and lead singer Scott Weiland has several drug-related arrests on his record. The band is appealing the denial, but the process will take months to play out. They will start their tour of Australia on Dec. 4, as planned. (Reuters)
