The Cult's frontman, Ian Astbury, has announced that his band will be the opening act on a Led Zeppelin 2008 reunion tour. ''We'll be back next year because we're opening for a band you may have heard of,'' he told a crowd in Cincinatti last weekend. ''The name starts with an 'L' and has a 'Z' in it.'' A fan responded by shouting, ''Led Zeppelin,'' and Astbury nodded and raised his arm in the air. Cult reps won't confirm. Led Zeppelin is booked for a one-off reunion show on Dec. 10 in London, and it has been rumored — in part due to hints dropped by guitarist Jimmy Page — that they are gearing up for additional dates next year.
