The Cult's frontman, Ian Astbury, has announced that his band will be the opening act on a Led Zeppelin 2008 reunion tour. ''We'll be back next year because we're opening for a band you may have heard of,'' he told a crowd in Cincinatti last weekend. ''The name starts with an 'L' and has a 'Z' in it.'' A fan responded by shouting, ''Led Zeppelin,'' and Astbury nodded and raised his arm in the air. Cult reps won't confirm. Led Zeppelin is booked for a one-off reunion show on Dec. 10 in London, and it has been rumored in part due to hints dropped by guitarist Jimmy Page that they are gearing up for additional dates next year.
