With his snowflakes-in-the-swamp trail mix of bayou blues and Boulder boogie, '70s-style guitar wizard Sonny Landreth just may be diverse enough to register with the culture-clash lovers of the '90s. Landreth's slide solos for the likes of John Hiatt and Clifton Chenier have always been his secret weapon, and there are plenty of those in Outward Bound. But he's an above-average singer and songwriter, and anybody who carries around a piece of Duane Allman's shirt surely must have his mojo working. B
