John Cuscak will star in Warner Bros.' psychological thriller The Factory, which director Morgan O'Neill (Project Greenlight, Solo) will direct from a script he co-wrote with Paul Leyden, an actor who appeared in LAX and the CBS soap opera As the World Turns. Cusack will play a cop hunting a serial killer in Buffalo, N.Y. When his own teenage daughter disappears, he drops his professionalism and is willing to employ any means necessary to get the killer. Shooting is scheduled to start in January. Cusack is coming off the horror hit 1408 and is generating early awards-season buzz for his performance in the drama Grace Is Gone. (Hollywood Reporter)
