Freddy Rodriguez and John Leguizamo have been tapped to star in Overture Films' upcoming family dramedy Humboldt Park for director Alfredo De Villa (Washington Heights). The story, penned by Rick Najera, Ted Perkins, and Alison Swan, is about three siblings who return to their parents' home for the holidays in Chicago's largely-Latino Humboldt Park neighborhood. Rodriguez recently appeared in Grindhouse and Bobby. Leguizamo's recent credits include The Happening and The Take. (Variety)
