Though the premise suggests otherwise Buscemi's political reporter deigns to write a profile on Miller's young starlet Interview isn't so much a critique of celebrity culture as a peek into the baffling clockwork that is human behavior. Both leads are riveting as they wile away the night, insulting, seducing, and deceiving each other not to mention us. EXTRAS In his commentary track, Buscemi, who also co-wrote and directed this remake of a 2003 Dutch film by the late Theo van Gogh, admits he's a ''whore for laughs.'' And yes, the movie has a few.
