Brokeback to the Future

While we nearly lost count of the number of Brokeback Mountain parodies that sprang up in late 2005 and early 2006 (as the film went into wide release and built Oscar buzz), it's safe to say that only a handful left us laughing. The best of the bunch, hands down, was this one: an inspired mashup of clips from the Back to the Future flicks and the iconic Brokeback score, painting Marty McFly (Michael J. Fox) and Doc Brown (Christopher Lloyd) as star-crossed lovers whose most innocent soundbites (i.e. ''I have to lead my life according to what I believe is right'') are suddenly infused with secret romantic longing.
