(FROM HOLLYWOOD REPORTER) ? Chris Messina (Six Feet Under) is in negotiations for a role alongside Amy Adams and Meryl Streep in Columbia's Julie & Julia. The Nora Ephron-directed comedy, adapted from Julie Powell's autobiographical book Julie & Julia: 365 Days, 524 Recipes, 1 Tiny Apartment Kitchen, a depressed woman who tries to spice up life by making every recipe in Julia Child's book Mastering the Art of French Cooking. Streep plays the Child and Stanley Tucci is set to play her husband. Messina will next appear opposite Scarlett Johansson and Penelope Cruz in Woody Allen's Vicky Cristina Barcelona and Patrick Dempsey in Paul Weiland's Made of Honor. (Hollywood Reporter)
