(FROM AP) - Madonna was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame on Thursday (Dec. 13) along with John Mellencamp, surf-rockers The Ventures, folk-rock artist Leonard Cohen, and British Invasion band The Dave Clark Five. The selections will be honored at a ceremony on March 10 in New York. To be eligible, artists must have released their first single or album at least 25 years before nomination. Madonna signed with Sire Records in 1982 and became an MTV star a year later thanks to the single ''Like a Virgin.'' (AP via CNN)
