(FROM HOLLYWOOD REPORTER) – The Satellite Awards has named No Country For Old Men the year's top drama and handed Juno the prize for best comedy/musical. The 12th Annual Satellite Awards were distributed on Sunday (Dec. 16) at the InterContinental Hotel in Century City. No Country directors Joel and Ethan Coen were given the best director award, and Juno star Ellen Page was named top actress in a comedy or musical. Best dramatic actress went to Marion Cotillard for La Vie en Rose, and best dramatic actor was given to Viggo Mortensen for Eastern Promises. Ryan Gosling won best actor in a comedy/musical for Lars and the Real Girl.
In the television categories, Dexter won best drama and Pushing Daisies took best comedy/musical series. Ugly Betty's America Ferrara and Colbert Report's Stephen Colbert were awarded best actors in a comedy or musical series, while Grey's Anatomy's Ellen Pompeo and Dexter's Michael C. Hall won the dramatic acting prizes. (Hollywood Reporter)
