Sticklers for originality can mosey along. But for anyone waiting for a
group whose four-part harmonies and musical chops are lifted right out
of the vintage SoCal rock scene, Nashville's Little Big Town are a godsend. At
times, A Place to Land seems like the second Eagles reunion album this month with LBT's two female members doing those high Henley/Meisner/Schmit
parts whereas they're in full Mac-attack mode with a great ''Go Your Own
Way'' knockoff, ''Fine Line.'' If it were 1979, this would be a
blockbuster. And it still might be anyhow.
