(FROM HOLLYWOOD REPORTER) – Michael Chiklis (The Shield, Fantastic Four) has joined the cast of Eagle Eye, a thriller D.J. Caruso (Disturbia) is directing for DreamWorks. Chiklis has been cast as the U.S. secretary of defense in the story about a slacker (Shia LaBeouf) and a single mother (Michelle Monaghan) who join forces after being framed as terrorists and forced to become members of a cell planning a political assassination. The cast also includes Billy Bob Thornton, Rosario Dawson, Anthony Azizi, and Anthony Mackie. Production is already underway and scheduled to wrap next month. (Hollywood Reporter)
