No sophomore slump here: Dharma & Greg's second season premieres with an exceedingly funny episode in which Dharma tries to coax Greg into adopting the unwanted child of a supermarket-checkout girl (Brigid Brannagh). Featuring a childbirth scene worthy of I Love Lucy, strong support from Susan Sullivan as Greg's nonplussed mom, and a surprise ending that sets up lots of tricky possibilities for the future.
