(FROM HOLLYWOOD REPORTER) – Kirk Acevedo (HBO's Oz, NBC's The Black Donnelly's), Mark Valley (Boston Legal), and Tomas Arana (Gladiator) will co-star in Fox's two-hour, $10 million sci-fi drama pilot Fringe, from J.J. Abrams, Alex Kurtzman, and Robert Orci. The story is about a young female FBI agent forced to work with an institutionalized scientist to try and confront the spread of unexplained phenomena. Arana will play a Department of Homeland Security agent heading the special Fringe Division, while Valley and Acevedo will play FBI agents. Alex Graves, a former executive producer on The West Wing, is directing the pilot. Fox landed the show last fall and granted a big series commitment. (Hollywood Reporter)
