Hey, kids, Dolph Lundgren can act! Well, as good as you have to act in a John Woo flick, where two-fisted firefights, slo-mo explosions, and over-orchestrated emotions rule the day. As ace bodyguard Jack Devlin, Lundgren gets all touchy-feely with a young orphan he adopts and a stalked supermodel he protects. Is Blackjack as good as Woo's Face/Off or Hard-Boiled? Not by a long shot. Is it better than just about every other USA Original Movie? Yessiree. B+
