Valentino Documentary in the Works

(FROM HOLLYWOOD REPORTER) – Vanity Fair special correspondent Matt Tyrnauer is making his feature directorial debut on a documentary based on Italian fashion designer Valentino. Valentino: The Last Emperor will chronicle the legendary designer's 45-year career from more than 250 hours of intimate footage of the man and his entourage. The film will explore Valentino's work as well as his personal relationships and his coping with facing the end of a storied career. It is based on Tyrnauer's Vanity Fair profile of the artist. The director is aiming to debut the documentary at Cannes in May. (Hollywood Reporter)
