Yes, it's another movie that dares to expose the lust and envy that malevolently bubble beneath the ''normal'' veneer of the average family. This laborious French satire has it all: incest, homosexuality, sadomasochism, murderous fantasies, patriarchs who thoughtfully consume dead rodents. But if you already know that bourgeois life is no emblem of moral stability, then you can safely file this in the folder marked Duh. C-
