There's no plot to speak of, but don't let that put you off Pierrot le Fou. Jean-Luc Godard's long-unavailable road movie is the most visually dazzling film to emerge from the French New Wave. Belmondo and a never-lovelier Karina (Mrs. Godard at the time) play penniless lovers on the lam, making occasional pit stops to squabble and spout deep thoughts. The real star, though, is Raoul Coutard's pop-art cinematography any frame could hang on a wall at MoMA. EXTRAS A slew of docs, a commentary, and a recent interview with Karina, who admits there was no script. You don't say. A-
