Odd Man In: Leonardo DiCaprio never met a quirky script (The Basketball Diaries, Total Eclipse, The Quick and the Dead) he didn't like, but quirky and box office rarely mix. Which is probably why DiCaprio may play the lead in Jim Cameron's mega-disaster film, Titanic (due from Fox next summer). Even if the actor books passage on the high-seas drama, DiCaprio — who would play a working-class American who falls for a first-class passenger (Kate Winslet) — may still take on, well, yet another quirky part, as a porn star in Boogie Nights, a gritty portrait of L.A. pornographers in the '70s.
