Bai Ling Arrested for Shoplifting

(FROM AP) — Bai Ling was arrested Wednesday at Los Angeles International Airport on suspicion of misdemeanor shoplifting. The Chinese actress allegedly stole two celebrity magazines and two packets of batteries, items which had a total value of approximately $16. Ling's agent did not return the Associated Press' request for comment. A common face on the Hollywood party circuit, Ling broke out in the 1997 Richard Gere thriller Red Corner and has had recent TV guest-starring roles on Lost and Entourage. She was released and will appear in court on March 5. (AP via Yahoo!)
