(FROM HOLLYWOOD REPORTER) – Teri Polo (Meet the Parents, The West Wing) will star in the indie thriller The Beacon, which also stars David Rees Snell (The Shield), Michael Urie (Ugly Betty), and Michael Ironside (ER). The Michael Stokes-directed project focuses on a thirty-something woman (Polo) grieving over the loss of her 4-year-old son. She and her husband (Snell) move to the Beacon Apartments where she sees the ghost of a boy who died in the building trying to escape from his abusive father. She then seeks the help of a young professor (Urie) to try and save the boy's spirit. Ironside plays a cop. Production started this week. Polo recently finished work on the horror movie Two: Thirteen. (Hollywood Reporter)
