1. CLASSIC UNDERCOVER OP
While we applaud season 1's ''Trojan Horse Stings'' — a shirtless wigged
detective buys dimes from behind the wheel of an RV — we'll go
with this season 3 gem: A Vegas officer posing as a Middle Eastern high
roller keeps a straight face as two escorts try to negotiate a $2,000
rate for ''the deluxe.''
2. WORST DEFENSE
In season 12, an Indianapolis man accused of battery changes his story
several times before settling on ''I didn't hit him. But if I did, he
deserved it.''
3. BEST DRUG BUST
In season 9, a California driver admits to drinking. ''The one thing that
led me to believe that there might be some marijuana in the car...'' the
cop says, pulling a joint from behind the guy's ear.
4. MARDI GRAS
According to season 15, a woman gets one warning for flashing her chest,
but anything below the belt is automatic jail. ''There are certain
things...you can do,'' a cop tells a female offender. ''Dropping your
pants and your panties on the balcony aren't one of those things.''
5. HOME INTRUDER
Technically not an arrest, but definitely entertaining. New York City
cops stare down a rat in season 7: ''Just assassinate him.''
