Heche Joins Kutcher in 'Spread'
(FROM HOLLYWOOD REPORTER) – Anne Heche will star opposite Ashton Kutcher in the indie romantic comedy Spread. She replaces Jennifer Jason Leigh, who exited the project on Feb. 21 for undisclosed reasons. Rumor has it she dropped out because she is pregnant. Spread, about a womanizer and the lover he scorns, is being produced by Kutcher's Katalyst production company. David Mackenzie (Hallam Foe) is directing. Shooting is scheduled to start immediately. Heche stars in the ABC drama series Men in Trees. (Hollywood Reporter)
