(FROM VARIETY) – The Office's John Krasinski, SNL's Maya Rudolph, and Curb Your Enthusiasm's Cheryl Hines are teaming for an as-yet untitled romantic comedy for Focus Features. Krasinski and Rudolph star as an expectant couple traveling the country in search of a place to put down roots and raise a family. Sam Mendes (American Beauty) is directing from a screenplay written by author Dave Eggers and his wife, novelist Vendela Vida. Shooting is scheduled to start next month. Krasinski will next be seen opposite George Clooney in Leatherheads, which releases April 4. He also just made his feature directorial debut on the upcoing indie Brief Interviews With Hideous Men, which he adapted from David Foster Wallace's novel. Rudolph's previous feature projects include A Prairie Home Companion and Idiocracy. Hines just made her feature directorial debut with the indie Serious Moonlight, from a screenplay written by the late Adrienne Shelly. Her upcoming acting projects include Henry Poole Is Here and the animated Space Chimps. (Variety)
