(FROM HOLLYWOOD REPORTER) – Producer-director Michael Bay (Transformers, Pearl Harbor) and his partners from his horror production company Platinum Dunes are in talks with Paramount for a remake of the 1968 horror classic Rosemary's Baby. Bay, Andrew Form, and Brad Fuller would produce the movie, about a woman who moves to a gothic New York apartment and learns that her husband, and the coven of Satan-worshippers next door, got her impregnated by the devil. The story was adapted from a best-selling novel by playwright-author Ira Levin (The Boys From Brazil, The Stepford Wives) and turned into Paramount's original Rosemary movie, directed by Roman Polanski and starring Mia Farrow, John Cassavetes, and Ruth Gordon, who won an Oscar for her role. Bay's Platinum Dunes is already working on remakes of horror classics Friday the 13th, Nightmare on Elm Street, and Alfred Hitchcock's The Birds. (Hollywood Reporter)
