John Lithgow, Kristin Scott Thomas in 'Shopaholic'

(FROM HOLLYWOOD REPORTER) – John Lithgow, Kristin Scott Thomas, Leslie Bibb (Crossing Jordan), Lynn Redgrave (Rude Awakening, Gods and Monsters), and Julie Hagerty (Airplane!) have been cast in Disney/Bruckheimer Films' romantic comedy Confessions of a Shopaholic. The movie, based on the best-selling novels by Sophie Kinsella and directed by P.J. Hogan (My Best Friend's Wedding), stars Isla Fisher (Wedding Crashers) as a compulsive shopper who lands a job as a financial journalist in New York. Lithgow will play a publishing magnate, Thomas will portray a magazine editor, Bibb a magazine staffer, Redgrave a publishing empire executive, and Hagerty a magazine assistant. John Goodman and Joan Cusack have already been cast as Fisher's parents, and Hugh Dancy and Krysten Ritter are already on board as a magazine editor and Fisher's best friend, respectively.
