Just in case, amid all the Juno-related plaudits for Kimya Dawson,
you've forgotten that the semiretired Moldy Peaches had more than one
member, her principal bandmate is back with a new solo effort, Sixes & Sevens. Green
spends his fifth album trying out a goofy, Elvis-esque croon and
stringing together meaningless rhymes (''Sold the kids to science/Baby,
cancel my compliance'') over arrangements that evoke 1950s schmaltz and
digital-age tinniness. He hits a campy sweet spot from time to time, but
at a seemingly endless 20-track length, this is one tiresome gag. C+
